Public Works repairing a water leak on Waverly Street - Monday, September 15

Public Works will be repairing a water leak on Waverly Street starting at 8:30am on Monday September 15, 2025.

The leak is in the parking lot/Entrance of the firehall. Portions of the parking lot and sidewalk will be closed.

Waverly Street will be closed from the intersection of Waverly Street and Water Street and Ellis and Waverly Street, Nova Scotia Power will be onsite to help assist with this project.

Residents on Waverly Street, Ellis Street, Price William Street and surrounding areas should expect water service interruptions through out the day. This may also affect portions of James Street and Smith Street.

We are unsure of a time frame at the time of this post, but will update as the day progresses.
