We have an immediate opening for a permanent, part time employee to service both Oxford and Springhill locations working 12 to 20 hours per week (in person – no remote work).

As a Branch Library Clerk for the Cumberland Libraries, you will:

• Issue, receive, reshelve books and library materials
• Answer reference questions
• Assist library users in accessing basic library materials
• Maintain classified collections (shelves shift, shelf-read)
• Provide lending services and facilities for return of loaned items
• Perform routine clerical duties as required.

While training is provided, for this role you will need:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Word processing software knowledge
• Be Internet and technology savvy
• Pass a criminal record check
• Library automated system knowledge
